V7 - "Pixy" ex "Melody" ex "Girl Friday" ex "Fancy" <> ex"Mayfly" ex "Lady Day"(1926)
Built in 1926 as a Solent Sunbeam, V.26 Lady Day.
She appears to have been one of the Solent Class which was re-numbered and appeared in 1927 as V18 Mayfly.
Whilst in the Solent Class she is listed as V18 Fancy (1933-39), and V18 Girl Friday (1939-48)
In 1948 she appears as one of the Falmouth Class, with the number V7 (named.. Melody, then Pixy)
"1949: Weekly races opened on 25 May. The [Falmouth] Sunbeam class was joined by Melody (Paul & Miss J. Holman) and Painted Lady (Mrs. N. Greville Williams), both boats having belonged previously to the Solent Sunbeam class." [Mead, History of the RCYC 1871-1949 p.187]

As V.7 Pixy, in 1972, her owner is listed as S. D. Forrow, Esq., Tideways, St. Mawes.
1972: As V.7. Pixy owners were listed in as, D.C. Burnett, Esq., and J. Green, Esq., 21 Marlborough Buildings, Bath, Somerset.
Q: Was the above owner the late Doug Burnett of St. Mawes, who converted Juanita?
1999: V7 Pixy (Andrew Pool & Lester Smith, RCYC) entered The Falmouth Sunbeams 75th Anniversary Championships held 22-27 August.
Her hull colour was then Navy Blue. In 1999 Andrew Pool was Hon. Secretary of the Falmouth Sunbeam Class.
